Position Summary:

As an Interventional Cardiologist, you will play a pivotal role in our practice, offering specialized expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. You will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive interventional cardiology services in a serene and picturesque coastal location.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing interpretation.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
  • Perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and other catheter-based treatments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Interpret non-invasive cardiac tests, such as echocardiography, stress testing, and Holter monitoring.
  • Educate patients on cardiovascular health, risk factors, and preventive measures.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in interventional cardiology through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the practice through participation in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and community outreach programs.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Diseases.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida (or eligible for licensure).
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
  • Proven experience in providing interventional cardiology services.
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting interventional cardiac procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathetically interact with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and staying current with the latest advancements in the field.
