Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will work alongside dealer personnel and must balance their schedule accordingly to meet the demands of the local dealership.
  • Must be able to do comprehensive evaluations on dairy farms and build reports to communicate to the dealer and the producer.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, time management, and be able to prioritize tasks based on severity.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or Agricultural Business .
  • Experience: Background in dairy farm support or similar field environment.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Familiar with milk system operations , including washing systems, vacuum, and pulsation mechanics.
    • Understanding of cow physiology and the science behind milk systems .
    • Proficient with chemical test kits and vacuum/pulsation analyzers .
  • Analytical Skills: Able to diagnose and resolve causes of elevated bacteria counts , and communicate findings to farms and dealerships.
  • Sales & Support: Capable of promoting and selling GEA products to improve milk quality.
  • Travel Requirements: Willing to travel throughout the region — from New York to Virginia .
  • Location: Must be based in Pennsylvania (eastern region preferred) .
  • Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel independently.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 - $100,000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
