📍 Location: Various Shipyards near Newport News, Virginia | 🔧 Contract-to-Hire | 🚢 Naval & Shipboard Systems

Are you a seasoned Marine Electrician with Navy A or E Division experience? Join a mission-driven team working on advanced shipboard systems that support national defense and maritime innovation. In this hands-on role, you’ll be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical electrical and mechanical systems aboard naval vessels.

💼 What You’ll Tackle
  • Install, operate, and maintain shipboard electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions with speed and precision.
  • Provide technical support across integrated systems and software.
  • Collaborate with customers and oversee subcontractor activities.
  • Lead work crews and ensure tasks are completed to spec and on time.
  • Prepare and interpret technical documentation, work packages, and test plans.
  • Communicate progress clearly to internal teams and clients.
  • Support cross-functional teams to complete installations and upgrades.
🎯 What You Bring to the Table
  • Prior Navy experience in A or E Division strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on expertise with valves, hydraulics, diesel systems, and electrical components.
  • Skilled in structural and mechanical system maintenance and repair.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools, power tools, and measurement devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong grasp of safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Must be eligible to obtain DBIDS base access within 60 days of hire.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
