    Job Title: Supply Chain Logistics Specialist  Job Overview: 
 We are seeking an experienced 
 Supply Chain Logistics Specialist  with strong expertise in 
 SAP  (specifically 
 SAP EWM ) and 
 Direct Store Delivery (DSD) systems, ideally within a 
 Consumer Packaged Goods (Client) environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing the logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to retailers and improving overall distribution efficiency.   
 Key Responsibilities:  -   Supply Chain Management  : Oversee and manage the logistics and distribution processes, ensuring optimal flow of goods from suppliers to customers.  
  -   SAP EWM Expertise  : Utilize SAP  Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to manage inventory, warehouse operations, and distribution processes, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient warehousing practices.  
  -   Direct Store Delivery (DSD) : Lead and manage Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, working closely with retail partners and sales teams to ensure smooth, timely deliveries to stores and improved product availability.  
  -   Demand and Inventory Management  : Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to meet customer demand.  
  -   Transportation Management  : Coordinate transportation logistics to optimize delivery routes and reduce transportation costs while ensuring on-time deliveries.  
  -   Collaboration with Retailers  : Partner with retail teams to understand delivery schedules, handle customer requirements, and address any issues related to logistics or DSD.  
  -   Data Analysis and Reporting  : Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings in distribution and inventory management.  
  -   Process Optimization  : Continuously review and optimize supply chain processes and workflows, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high service levels to retailers and customers.  
  -   Compliance  : Ensure all logistics operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.  
 
  Required Skills and Qualifications:  -   Experience in Supply Chain Logistics  : Minimum of [X] years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, ideally within the  Client industry  .  
  -   SAP EWM  : In-depth knowledge of  SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) , including inventory management, warehouse processes, and distribution planning.  
  -   Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Experience  : Proven experience managing  DSD  operations in a retail environment, working with delivery teams to ensure timely and efficient product distribution to stores.  
  -   Supply Chain Optimization  : Strong understanding of supply chain processes and experience in improving delivery efficiency, inventory management, and cost reduction.  
  -   Analytical Skills  : Strong data analysis skills with the ability to analyze logistics data and make data-driven decisions.  
  -   Project Management  : Experience in managing logistics-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring milestones are met and objectives are achieved.  
  -   Communication and Collaboration  : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.  
  -   Problem-Solving  : Strong problem-solving abilities to address any logistics or supply chain issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.  
 
  Preferred Qualifications:  -   Experience in Client  : Direct experience working in the  Consumer Packaged Goods (Client) sector, with knowledge of Client logistics, distribution, and retailer requirements.  
  -   Logistics Certifications  : Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.  
  -   Project Management Tools  : Familiarity with project management tools such as  MS Project  ,  Jira  , or similar platforms.  
  -   Advanced SAP Knowledge  : Additional SAP certifications or experience with other SAP modules related to logistics (e.g., SAP TM, SAP MM) is an advantage.
